The voucher’s Terms and Conditions vary depending on the race and country that you initially registered and paid for. 

For example: If you registered and paid for 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 Marbella in Spain and were transferred to 2021 IRONMAN 70.3 Aix en Provence in France which is now postponed or cancelled, you would refer to the Spanish Terms and Conditions. Please review Terms and Conditions in the section below. 

Please complete your selection below before your event’s deadline. All terms and conditions apply. Dates are subject to any related COVID-19 restrictions. 

HOW TO APPLY FOR AN EVENT CREDIT VOUCHER:  

• Click the link we provided you in that email.  
• Select “VOUCHER REQUEST”  
• Fill out and complete the request form.  
• Hit the “Submit” button 

Upon submitting your voucher request, you will receive an email confirming your request has successfully been received. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please contact the local event team for support. 

The IRONMAN team will review your request and you will receive a confirmation once it has been processed. If there are any technical limitations in issuing your  voucher, the local event team will get in touch to discuss your options. 

Relay teams: Only the team captain must complete this process in order to receive an event credit voucher.  

1. Which fees are included in a voucher? 
The voucher includes your entry fee, any additional purchases, and the processing fee (ACTIVE fee) for the previously mentioned purchases. Merchandise products, that are shipped to you, and their processing fee (ACTIVE fee) are not included.

1. What races can I sign up to using my 2020 voucher? 
The 2020 voucher can be used at all events offered and operated by a company within The IRONMAN Group that is based in the regions of Europe, Middle East or Africa (EMEA). It can only be redeemed for events for which the registration has officially opened before the voucher expires, and only while the general online registration is open. 

The voucher cannot be redeemed for events which are declared as a World Championship or whose participation is only possible through qualification in one or more other events.  

You can request the latest list of eligible races by emailing the Event Credit team. Please include “List of eligible races” in your subject line. 

2. When does my 2020 voucher expire? 
Please refer to the expiration date of your 2020 voucher in the PDF file you received after requesting the voucher. 

3. How do I redeem my 2020 voucher? 
To redeem your 2020 voucher, please write an email to the Event Credit team and include the race name in your subject line.  

You can use your voucher for more than one race if the voucher amount is higher than the entry fee for one race. 

You can also use several 2020 vouchers towards one entry fee if you have multiple 2020 vouchers. 

4. How do I know the remaining balance of my 2020 voucher? 
The initial amount of your voucher is included in the PDF file you received after you requested the voucher. If you use your voucher for an entry, the event credit team will inform you of the remaining amount on your voucher via email. If you are unsure about your voucher amount you can send an email to the Event Credit team. Please include ‘Remaining amount’ in your subject line.

3. Who is eligible for the 2021 voucher?
All registered athletes for a postponed or cancelled 2021 event  will receive a detailed email with instructions on how to request a voucher. 

4. Which races can I sign up to using my 2021 voucher? 
After processing your 2021 voucher request through the form link in your event email, the local event team will inform you of the races you can sign up to or you can review the specific race/country Terms and Conditions.  

Please note that the races we offer are listed in our Terms and Conditions which vary depending on the race and country that you initially registered and paid for.  

For example: If you registered and paid for 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 Marbella in Spain and got transferred to 2021 IRONMAN 70.3 Aix-en-Provence in France, which is now postponed or cancelled, you would refer to the Spanish Terms and Conditions. 

5. When does my 2021 voucher expire? 
Your 2021 voucher will expire on December 31, 2024. 

6. How do I use my 2021 voucher? 
When registering for one of the eligible races on Active you will be able to choose to use your voucher as a payment option, as long as your voucher has not yet expired. 

Please choose the 2021 voucher credit balance on the payment page as a payment option. 

You can use your voucher for more than one race if the voucher amount is higher than the entry fee for one race. 

7. Can I get priority registration with my 2021 voucher? 
Athletes with a 2021 voucher will receive priority registration for their eligible races for 2022 and 2023 event openings if the race offers priority entries. 

8. Where can I find my 2021 credit balance? 
You can see your 2021 voucher balance in your Active account. Please log in to   https://myevents.active.com/ironmaneurope

9. I have already transferred events in 2020, how do I know which race/country will issue my voucher? 
If you have transferred your slot from one race to another and especially if you have switched race countries in the process, this will impact the terms and conditions that apply to you. 

Our Terms and Conditions are defined for each athlete depending on the race and country that you initially registered and paid for. This means that you would need to refer to the voucher Terms and Conditions for the very first race you signed up for before any transfers, deferrals, postponements, or cancellations. 

For example: If you registered and paid for 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 Marbella in Spain and got transferred to 2021 IRONMAN 70.3 Aix-en-Provence in France, which is now postponed or cancelled, you would refer to the Spanish Terms and Conditions, as this is the initial race country you registered for.  

In case of doubt, please contact the local event team that you have currently signed to and we will assist you with a list of races your 2021 voucher would be eligible for.
