Registered clubs receive the exclusive benefit of priority registration! Affiliated club members have an opportunity to sign up for races before the general public. Knowing when priority registration is opening, clubs can start prepping for next season. Registering during the priority registration window can help guarantee your spot in your club’s target race before races sell out.
How Priority Registration works: An email will be sent individually to affiliated club members on the priority registration opening date. Members have a 7-day window to register before the race opens to the general public. To ensure members receive a priority registration link via email, athletes must be affiliated with their TriClub and have not opted out of IRONMAN email communication. Members must affiliate and opt-in to email communication 48 hours prior to a priority registration opening date, or they will not receive a registration link. If a member affiliates or opts-in after the 48-hour deadline, they will not receive a priority registration link.
*Offer is only valid for full-distance IRONMAN races and select IRONMAN 70.3 races, which typically includes TriClub Championship events and newly added 70.3 events in North America.
Affiliated TriClub members receive a 7-day priority access window to secure check-in time slots. If you wish to be racked with your club members, you must select the same check-in time slot as them. To ensure you are racked together, club members must arrive to Athlete Check-In together during the selected time slot. You will be assigned your bib and racking position on-site.
Check-in time selection emails will go out four weeks prior to race weekend (generally on a Monday).
IRONMAN races – Clubs earn 1 complimentary race entry for every 10 affiliated members registered for an IRONMAN race. Complimentary entries can be used towards an IRONMAN, IRONMAN 70.3 or relay registration in the same calendar year and/or within 6 months of the race date the club qualifies for.
IRONMAN 70.3 races - Clubs earn 1 complimentary race entry for every 20 affiliated members registered for an IRONMAN 70.3 race. Complimentary entries can be used towards an IRONMAN 70.3 or relay registration in the same calendar year and/or within 6 months of the race date the club qualifies for.
*For sold out races, clubs must redeem their complimentary entry within 60 days from general registration sell out date. Clubs must apply for a complimentary entry 45 days prior to the race date they qualify for – and must submit an athlete’s name for the complimentary entry to be used 45 days prior to the chosen race date. Complimentary race entries are to be used at the TriClub leader’s discretion. Complimentary entries must go to affiliated club members. Does not apply to licensed races (IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka, IRONMAN 70.3 Calgary). Max five entries per club, per race.
